My Personal Notes: Like most other kids, I loved Snake Eyes as a kid.  He was one of my favorites.  I am not sure how it happened, but somehow over the years his right are got broken at his elbow.  It wasn't when I was playing with him, but sometime while in storage/transition.  The even weirder part is I didn't know where the broken piece went.  What also sucked is he was the 1982 straight-arm Joe without swivel arm battle grip.  I also had lost his gun, so while I hated to do it, I replaced him with a unbroken straight-arm one that had all of his accessories in early 2012 off of eBay.  I will probably keep my broken one still just for sentimental reasons.

Update:  I did as I said, and got another complete one off of eBay in 2012.  He is a complete straight arm in great condition.
