Subject served in Long Range Recon Patrols in South East Asia. Left the service to study mystic martial arts with the same Ninja family that produced Storm Shadow. Snake-Eyes was living an ascetic existence alone in the High Sierras with a pet wolf named Timber when he was recruited for the G.I.Joe Team.

Qualified Expert: All Nato and Warsaw Pact small arms, black belt in 12 different fighting systems and highly skilled in the use of edged weapons.

My Personal Notes: Like most other kids, I loved Snake Eyes as a kid.  In a move I can't explain, I am sure I had this version of Snake Eyes as a kid, but a friend of mine in school somehow convinced me to trade him for another figure or two.  I don't remember the details of the trade and what I got for it now, but I remember while I was happy with what I got, I really regretted trading him off.  I never got another one as a kid, though I can now gladly say I got him replaced in a February 2012 eBay purchase.
